A large 24x36” unfinished painting I love and dislike parts of and don’t know how to fix. considering painting completely over it. Going to play with it digitally and see if I can find a solution. Inspired by and / Abr fabric and Buddhist / Hindu and the Silk Road that these traditions, beliefs & cultural exchanges travelled by.
I like the idea of it, but the composition isn’t working for me.

A woman with fair skin and rainbow colored hair in many braids, wearing a t-shirt and navy pants with a navy & white flowing skirt with ikat/abr pattern that merges into water reflections she seems to walk upon. Behind is a blue sky of ikat clouds, and a backdrop of orange soundwaves that look vaguely like distant spires, golden diamond pattern like traffic signs that link to flow chart shapes & construction barriers. She is playing electric guitar walking/dancing away from it.

Letting tradition fly
