The compositional credits go to #JonAnderson, #ChrisSquire, and #BillBruford, though keyboardist #RickWakeman contributed some uncredited sections. The song eventually rose to become the band's fifth most-played song, and appears on #Yessongs, #ClassicYes, #InAWordYes1969, and many other studio and live retrospectives.

The almost 7-minute song is in two parts; the first, titled "Your Move", was released as a single in 1971 which peaked at number 40 in the US, which helped the group build momentum. The second part is entitled "All Good People".

It was written by singer #JonAnderson and guitarist #SteveHowe and produced by the band and #EddyOfford. The song originated when the band were on tour and travelled from #Aberdeen to #Glasgow, and went through many #roundabouts on the way. Some reviewers are calling it the lost Yes album and I can hear why.
New #review today: "With True, we find #JonAnderson fronting a group called #TheBandGeeks, and it seems that the name is appropriate — they sound like the kind of geeky musicians who learned how to play classic #Yes tunes note-for-note.
