Great article that lays bare the the cynical reality in the US, Canada, Australia, Norway and the UK.
So 7 major LNG export terminals built in the US and 24 more planned - locking in terminal climate change.
But what will it be used for, as renewable sources are cheaper, and the gap widening?
I wonder if Big Oil might be backing the Hydrogen hype? Perhaps they'd like to see LNG exported (with a lot escaping in transit) then the rest used to make Hydrogen? Those Hydrogen plants need double the LNG energy input to produce the Hydrogen. That'll make everything greener/greyer!
