A rather big lezard-headed blue plush dinosaur climbin on some sandstones between wild herbs.

View from far away: the same dinosaur but now there are also rocks covered with moss which starts to dry in the heat. Wild herbs (like nettles) give some shadow. There's a bird bath. Stones in the water help insects and dinosaurs to drink, too.

With this year’s abundant rain, this delicate beauty thrives in still and slow-moving waters. Its finely divided underwater leaves and star-like white flowers support freshwater biodiversity, offering refuge to insects and small aquatic life. A quiet reminder that even the smallest plants play a big role in healthy ecosystems.

A 2.5cm wide flat moth, much like a butterfly, on a paving slab. It is a creamy colour heavily speckled in red-brown. It has a faint red line running in a shallow U shape from top wing edge left to top wing edge right. It bottom wing edges are fringed.
