Turns out the tornado warning that sent us to the basement a few days ago actually did have a funnel touch down a bit north of us. Only an F0̷ just 50 feet wide, but it tore down some trees and knocked out lights on a 6 mile path from Shawnee, KS to KCMO.

Interestingly, the little cluster of "lightweight" tornadoes passed over this area 2 years ago had funnels travel almost exactly that same route.

Anyhoo, get your tornado shelters in order. The season has begun.
