I have two Pen Ds in various states of repair. Great cameras, but I'm also seriously tempted by the Pentax 17 - especially as #kamerastore currently have a 20% discount ... argh.

First scans from the Braun Imperial (1954) 6x9 box camera. Not bad considering the slow shutter (~1/10) and high (for the era and slow shutter) ISO 200 film. I have however learnt that the viewfinder is not accurate; too much sky whilst cutting off feet. #Fomopan 200 developed in Adonal 1+25 from #kamerastore. #viiala #egl #akaa #braunimperial #mediumformat

More frames from the Boulevard—this time pushing Santa Color 100 to its limits. +3 stops to ISO 400 gives this Kodak aerial film. The Contax 85mm f/1.4 never disappoints, rendering scenes with that buttery depth only vintage glass can deliver.

The second half of the video, where they walk through the spare parts section, is absolutely fascinating.

So much work has gone into setting up this business and the ability to repair old cameras of all sorts.

@johnlehet You may want to avoid #DHL as well. It took them 5 weeks to return a faulty camera to #kameratori At first they lost the package, then found it, sent it to Finland, then back to Spain (no idea why) then, eventually, to its destination. For all that time I was over 800 euros out of pocket. Rubbish service from #DHL and #kamerastore

A quick update about my defective Mamiya C330: I have sent the camera back to #kamerastore in Finland for them to check and see what they can do. I’ll keep you posted on what happens.

@QueenKong The camera is new to me. I enjoyed using it, but unfortunately it has a major problem with the film advance. I only shot one roll. The camera is winging it's way back to #kamerastore for repair or refund.
