Soooooo! I've updated all my Native Instruments things apart from outright buying the upgrade for K15. I have opened KK once to scan the content folder. I've updated Reaper. I've updated Osara. Is there anything else I need to do, or can I just plug my M32 in, turn on accessibility, insert a KK track, and go for it? I expect I forgot about the 13 human sacrifices along the way... Oh fargh... I just realized how daunting this new venture into #Macbook territory is. I have to learn an entirely new operating system as well as an entirely new DAW. I tend to do better at this sort of thing if I have access to an ordered way of doing things, like some sort of course... lessons, etc. There's somebody I'd love to learn from despite the fact I'm stupidly intimidated by them, but I don't think I can afford the nearly $65 an hour price tag. So… Am I right in assuming that #NativeInstruments #Komplete #Kontrol is somehow the gold standard of accessible software synthesizers when using REAPER or the like? And if so, what keyboard should one get in order to play these? Looking through the RWP Dropbox folder but lost.

#NativeInstruments lives up to their reputation of having the worst customer service. I wanted to upgrade my #Komplete to the latest version, but I can't. The shop only carries the preorder for the next version, available in October. For the next three weeks nobody will be able to buy or upgrade Komplete online and start using it right away (confirmed by hotline and support). That's business. 👏

Got my first #MIDI controller candidate: #Nektar Panorama P4. First impressions: Keyboard is nice but noisy, buttons feel stiff and cheap, pads are useless since too hard. Good display.

#Logic integration is great, love that i can adjust cycle region via knob. Menu navigation requires lots of button presses. #Ableton: Nope, just the very basics. #Native: Need to update to newest #Komplete first, but should work fine.

Overall: Not bad, but not the all-in-one I am looking for.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to demo #NativeInstruments products to some people. As a result, I've just spent the last 4 hours putting together this little track using the 6 Flagship synths.
