hay folks, for those who are #reaper users out there, just a question, aside on using the latest focusrite interfaces to do loop back, is there any way to rout your output on your reaper to team talk or other conferencing sistem, i'm trying to use the recorder plugin of voxengo, but i want it to be like, even the metronome be heard. cause i just put the plugin into the master track, other sound of the reaper cant be heard.

Hrmph. For the first time since switching to Linux, I tried to record something with MIDI today in #Reaper. And for some reason, Reaper didn't recognize any of my MIDI input devices.
Which is frustrating because I have grown very fond of Reaper, and I really don't want to re-learn Ardour (which I used in the past and it has its own painful points).

Okaaaaaay folks... Are there any tutorials I can work with where it comes to MIDI and Reaper on Mac? Specifically KK? Reaper Made Easy is great, but I don't think it covers things like how to set up inputs and outputs and all that jazz. I don't think this gets talked about enough, so could we please acknowledge the generosity of Cockos, the company behind the Reaper digital audio workstation? Their licensing model has literally given people in third world countries the ability to have access to a fully functional and accessible daw issentially for free, and I believe that this has helped lift people out of poverty. I highly encourage anyone who can to buy a license, but being able to use the product fully without the need to buy a license just goes to show the generosity of the folks at Cockos. BTW I'm not neglecting all the work that the folks do on the osara accessibility plugin, but so many people wouldn't be able to get as far even with that if they couldn't use the Daw. #Reaper #Cockos #Audio #Daw

Soooooo! I've updated all my Native Instruments things apart from outright buying the upgrade for K15. I have opened KK once to scan the content folder. I've updated Reaper. I've updated Osara. Is there anything else I need to do, or can I just plug my M32 in, turn on accessibility, insert a KK track, and go for it? I expect I forgot about the 13 human sacrifices along the way... Bit of a longshot today!

Anyone using #pipewire with #reaper and a Mackie #MCU?

It almost works but not quite, all the buttons and faders are responding, but the MCU display isn't showing anything (well it's stuck on the 'boot screen' - MACKIE CONTROL UNIVERSAL- etc).

@pipewire is otherwise excellent (easy to use, low latency etc etc), but this apparent snag with #MIDI handling is something of a fly in the ointment.

Anyone know anything about Waves Central? I have been banging my head against the wall for the past two hours trying to get Reaper to find my v12 plugins. They were working fine up to yesterday, then I got a license engine failure message, re-installed Waves Central and the plugins, the bundles show up where they should, but, for example, OVox shows up as unlicensed now when I try to run it stand alone, which it isn't. Guys, is Sylenth accessible and as easy to use with Reaper on Mac as it is with Reaper on Windows? That's the one plugin I'm finding myself sad at the idea of losing because of potential accessibility problems when used with REaper on Mac. I didn't buy it, but I did get a taste for what the potential was while I was exploring composition on Windows, and I thought I'd ask here to see what people have found before I actually spend money on it. I just documented a way to have a Session view & an Arranger view at the same time in Reaper.

This is nothing special really. There are other tools available that do this. The key difference, is that I wanted to have a way to do it, using just Reaper...& maybe a script.

Anyone who tells you that Reaper can't have a session view is wrong. :)

I ordered more #Miniatures yesterday in spite of the fact that I really need a better way to transport more to my #Pathfinder sessions.

I got some zombies, some zombie wolves, a wraith with a scythe, giant rats, four humans (including Sir Forscale), a set of Halloween-themed familiars, a well-armored skeleton/death knight, a pennangalan, and a leucrotta ("badger wolf"). All are metal #ReaperMiniatures ordered from #Pippd on Ebay.

It was obviously an idea I was playing with for #FromBelow Relearned the guitar part. Now I need to put down a bass track. LFG!
