I finished watching the Anne Shirley anime.

I started watching it because I thought it would be a feel-good laid back anime. Not to mention people still read the Anne of Green Gables books 100+ years later and I wanted to see why.

And yeah, I can see why. Anne looks at the world in such a dreamy and dramatic way. It's interesting to see her viewpoint on stuff.

The anime was weird though in how they forced a Canadian accent. It wasn't even an accent you would hear in the Maritimes, it was clearly just what Americans think Canadians sound like i.e. hoose, aboot, etc. :blobfoxgooglyconfused:

I hope they make another season. There's plenty of material :ablobfoxbongo:

I’ve been reading a few different horror novels lately so I can review them next month as well as listening to the audiobook version of The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery again.

I enjoy bouncing between and among genres like that.
