The Breshna Power Company of Afghanistan says that a technical issue affecting the transmission line in the Tashkurghan Tang valley has been resolved, and electricity has been restored to normal in the related provinces.

The company stated that its technical teams have fully resolved the problem with the 220 kilovolt imported power line connecting Naimabad to Pul-e-Khumri, which was caused by rainfall, storms, and landslides in the Tashkurghan Tang valley. The power was restored at 2:00 AM.

With the reconnection of this line, the provinces of Parwan, Panjshir, Kapisa, Kabul, Nangarhar, Laghman, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Wardak, and Ghazni have had their imported electricity supply restored to normal.
