This painting was inspired by my X/Y VGC team, which featured Malamar and Liepard as a central pairing.

I painted myself as a Team Rocket grunt because I'll be tabling at TRA Con - TRA Collective's TCG event in August!

"Hey Shamir!" Catherine takes her girlfriend's hand while both of their pokemon, liepard and lycanroc, lie curled together next to them. "Remember when you were distant and cold, and didn't want a partner?"

"Yes. And I might change my mind again, if you keep bringing it up," Shamir rolls her eyes in annoyance, though her lips curve up slightly despite herself.

"No, you won't." Catherine drapes her arm around Shamir, pulling her close. "You're stuck with me now."

Shamir smirks and hums, leaning closer. "Well, if that's what you want?"

"It is..." Catherine sighs, blushing quite a bit.

"Alright then." Shamir smiles, leaning her head on Catherine's shoulder.

And the next part. I suffered while coloring again. Why is choosing a color theme so hard?

Oh, and I discovered the text tool in procreate, yay. Now y'all don't have to read my handwriting anymore.

Catherine and her lycanroc (stone dog pokemon) stands in front of two rocket grunts and their rocket pokemon. She has a few scratches and sighs: "Damn. Maybe taking all these rocket grunts at once was not a good idea after all..."

"Hey Catherine, need some help?"
Shamir appears and gets her liepard (cat pokemon) out of her pokeball to help Catherine fight the rocket grunts.

Catherine and Shamir stand in front of the pile of beaten rocket grunts and rocket pokemon.

"See? We're great together. Let's team up more often." Catherine grins and winks at Shamir.

"Nah. That was an exception. Try not to get into trouble again." Shamir crosses her arms and sighs.

She sits down next to Lyvanroc, fluffs its ruff stone fur and whispers to the happy dog: "Take care of your trainer for me, ok?"

"I'm so jealous! What did she say to you?" Catherine asks Lycanroc, who just looks at her quizzically and wags its tail excitedly.

"Fine, keep your secrets then.." she huffs, when she doesn't receive the desired answer.

Hello, it's me. I have drawn another pokemon au, yes. And could go all out with the glow effects in the background here, haha. (Haven't event planned to draw a background, especially not a detailed one like this. Oh well.)

Short comic. Catherine and Shamir with their respective pokemon, stone doggo lycanroc and spotted cat liepard, meet each other by chance in Ballonlea. It's a small little town in the middle of the forest with lots of glowing mushrooms in a variety of colors.

Catherine waves her hand and asks with an excited smile: "Hey Shamir, since you're also in Ballonlea, do you want to -", but just gets interrupted by a slightly annoyed and tired looking Shamir.
"No, thank you. Stop asking already. I don't need a partner."
"But..."
"Still no. Bye" And with another heavy sigh Shamir and her liepard walk away without a glance to Catherine or her Lycanroc.

Catherine and Lycanroc are still standing at the same spot, blinking a few times, then look at each other clearly disappointed that they weren't successfully recruiting Shamir and her pokemon into their team. Well there's always next time, right?
