A wee walk round Limekilns and Charleston, this was Mrs B's village , born and raised , so loads of tales about childhood shenanigans.
And as strange as it seems these wee picturesque villages , we once an industrial hotspot , with trains,railway and a very busy harbour (now with abandoned sailing boats )

3 pubs in the 2 villages ,not been in The Inn for a few years,so canny say anything aboot it ,bit The Ship and The Bruce Arms are well worth a visit ,both do really good food,the ship doesnt look inviting today but on a Summers day ,sitting outside is weel braw ,The Bruce has a good selection of beers and the food 👍

@themacktrails aye ,well worth a wee visit ,couple of good pubs in Limekilns as well.We stay near and often have a walk round by the Scout hut then past the old Rosyth graveyard and up the hill ,back down to Limekilns .#Limekilns #Dunfermline #fife #Fiobha
