I have to pause my transmission of toots.

The battery level has dropped below 60%

The device I'm currently on is also Hotspotting the internet connection to three other devices.

Hotspotting is very costly for the battery

.

A Smart router has to be enabled for the connection to be distributed to the other clients. The routing consists of the gateway which talks to the 4G ISP and a switch which talks to the devices. A process which maintains the tokens for the min LAN that's created also needs to run. Both physical devices are connected as a transparent Bridge.

The whole process just takes a lot from the device. I normally have a separate mobile Wi-Fi router to do the work. However this ISP gave me more bandwidth, much more bandwidth, than the other.
Only SIM cards of the other ISP work in dedicated Wi-Fi routers. The current ISP explicity prohibits this by preventing the sim card to login, when the device is detected.

LiPO batteries also have another weakness, if someone is unfortunate and the BMS on the battery and in the device fails, that LiPO battery will explode in their hands, when it reaches 70° c and it stays there for long enough. The victim will not even hear explosion it will just be like getting shot in the chest Center Mass with a firearm of grand caliber.

I shall be back

I just did a speed test from my current bandwidth provider. As I've said before I use 4G plus Internet because it's magnitudes faster than the 10MBit/s which the xDSL provider gives with which are the most I can get 3.2 TBytes per month

1TB=1024GB

I will never be able to fill a proper hard drive in one month at such speeds. A proper hard drive is 16 TB at minimum

The speeds are oké for this Point in Time. The upload speed sucks major, normally that's about 30 megabits a second

My mobile data ISP delivers much more modern speeds. Yesterday I took another shot at some of the bandwidth they deliver.

They give you 50% more bandwidth than the competitor when you take seven days and their SIM card login sequence doesn't test for GSM phone capabilities.
Because of that I can use mobile WiFi routers on their network.
I spoke about that DOS of the incumbent xDSL ISP {also 4G carrier} some days ago

For just one 4G tower the speed is quite good

@alexgreen @Timpostma

The only access I have to the WiFi router is that from an end user point of view.

I will first need to get command line access to it, or a Android tool, before I can change the TTL

I'm glad that there is a fix available.

The fact that you're able to use 25 GB instead of 5 GB by manipulating your TTL with one point is quite incredible!

Now some detailed questions how did you change the TTL? Which brand device are you using?
Is there a tool somewhere in the open source world where I can change the TTL of my Android WiFi device?

I've read your toot again
Your Franklin device is rooted and does have command Line Access

I have to note immediately that the 4G ISP in question, does not care that you hotspot your connection. I've hotspotted the phone in the afternoon to get the links browser for my live MX Linux distribution on an old notebook, without a boot device.

In fact I'm hot spotting the connection right now with two other devices

for some strange reason they just don't want the packets to get distributed through a mobile Wi-Fi router, and are preventing the device from even handshaking the SIM card in a usable modus

@Timpostma

I shall do the following. Get me some bandwidth 4G+ bandwith, from the other provider

Never ever get bandwith from this provider again when I want to use it on a mobile WiFi router

The reason for the stipulation is that their Network can reach 40 GB per second on 4G Plus. The second provider gives you more bandwidth but they don't reach those speeds at all

@Timpostma @Dendrobatus_Azureus @RadioAzureus

The most incredible thing is that when you put that same GSM SIM card twice in the same phone, the second time around the initialization takes less than two seconds.

less than two seconds!

It doesn't matter whether the phone is an Android or is simple yes no GSM.
This means that the server catches the initialization process. It also means that the denial of service is not a mistake

As I've said a couple of days ago, I do not intend to go back to the obsolete xDSL connections that my provider gives.

It is paradoxical, but the two 4G+ and 5G providers that the country has, give speeds which are up to par with what you can get in Europe most parts of Asia even in Russia.

I included the snapshot of the Simple GSM because Of The following,

It has come to my attention that my xDSL provider, which is also a 4G provider, suddenly needs about 60 to 90 seconds before they initialize is standard GSM Sim.

WTF? That takes as long to initialize their obsolete xDSL router and Gateway.

It is yesterday night at about 2200 hours that I found out why. They run and extensive script with you checks if your SIM is installed in a mobile WI-FI Gateway / router

When the script has determined that the SIM is not in a phone, it delays the authentication sequence of the SIM indefinitely.

You see the SIM card going from no access to limited access, and it stays there for more than 600 seconds! Then they fail the process!

This is a classic case of Denial Of Service.

I'm so glad that I only took 3 days I'll jump to the other provider again afterwards

Since I am now not stuck with one ISP giving mediocre internet speeds on obsolete xDSL systems the following has been measured

This is a speed that I get over 4G Networks. What immediately jumps into your eyes is that the speed is almost symmetrical. When providers can give speeds like this and give 4G + speeds at 40 MBit/s you realize how mediocre 10 MBit/s is with just five megabits / seconds up running on End of Life obsolete xDSL routers

VoLTE...
