Extreme Noise #records in #minneapolis might be the best #punk #recordstore I’ve ever been in. 90% of the time I leave stores empty handed. I could have spent a grand here easily in an hour and that’s even with the cheap prices. All volunteer run and non profit for 30 years. The stuff they had was insane and honest prices. Heads up #MPLS, we heard a chopper circling over Powderhorn, Lake St, and Longfellow. I took a photo of it and it is a US Customs and Border Enforcement helicopter. This was at ~4:20 pm Saturday 1/25/2025.

The #Mpls riots following the George Floyd murder had many triggers, but notable was the "Umbrella Man" who first committed arson (of the Autozone located kitty-corner to the Police 3rd precinct).

"An investigation found that the man was also connected to the Aryan Cowboys, a prison biker / street gang. The Anti-Defamation League identifies them as a white supremacist group based primarily in Kentucky & Minnesota."
