So, class, what have we learned today?
Well, photos in WordPress galleries don't federate very well.
Like, at all.
So putting a gallery into a post may look good on the site, but isn't visible through a Fediverse client.
The default WP behaviour with photos federates better, but doesn't look quite as tidy on the site.
Also, if you spend all morning experimenting with ways of posting photos on WP/The Fediverse, you're gonna miss the bus to work!

Istanbul airport is a.) gorgeous, b.) long as FUCK, c.) laid out with international transfers as far away as possible.
My personal achievement of the day is a determined walk from exiting the airport bus in FRA terminal 1 down to the long-distance train station platform 6 (furthest!) in under 20mins, including passport control and all. Frankfurt airport travellers, be impressed.

Not an animal photo today. This is a pic of a #thingimade for a birthday present. It's a pouf (or maybe you call it a pouffe?). I #madeit from #fabric scraps leftover from other projects and planned to fill it with other smaller scraps. I ran out of scraps so had to use cushion stuffing. It's very tall. I like it and I hope the recipient does too!
