Sorry, I gotta say Meg II isn’t very good. There were a couple of great moments of giant monster animal mayhem. But also a lot of stupid crap.

The first half of the film had a lot of moody scenes, especially underwater with the lighting. But the back half was plain daylight scenes. Not very stylish or interesting at all.

Was a shark punched? I saw a few kicks… and a friendly pat at one point… but no punching. Some amphibious reptiles (that also are surprisingly at ease at the ocean floor) did get punched, but they don’t count.

I’m enjoying watching this film… but some aspects of the script are so lazy and nonsensical.

At times the giant sharks appear to be the most realistic and grounded aspect.
