I got a #mix question follow #mixingengineers and #MusicProduction people!

To me it was magical to find a Reflection Engine (I use Precision, UA). Suddenly my dry recordings could sound fuller and better, when placed “in a room” using the reflection engine.

But I find very few plug-ins that gives me the same recording-room-feel. They all sound very much like classic reverbs.

Am I the only one using a recording space sound to create a room-feel?

Common piece of advice from pro #mixing #engineers (such as Bob Clearmountain, Chris Lord-Alge, and more...)

#mix at low volumes that are comfortable for extended periods of time.

Loud might sound better, but it can mask issues and leads to ear fatigue faster.
