A dual-monitor computer screen with studio speakers on either side of them. In front of this is a 2-tiered stand with computer keyboard and trackpad on the smaller, upper one and a musical keyboard (88 keys) on the lower one.

This is how we captured the sound of 'Streams'. 🎙️🎸

Instead of a traditional music video, we wanted to share a raw look inside the studio.

We’ve been a band for nearly 10 years, and this session felt like a definitive turning point for us. The musical direction for our upcoming album.

Also, one person I work with kept calling that little analog board a Mackey. The two of us took to calling it the little Mackey that could. Found out tonight through photos and AIRA that is actually a Behringer!!! I agree fully with Ars Technica, but for another reason. This seems to be an ad for Paradise Guitar Studio that you can get for 150 USD, but the gem is doing audio work on Linux (GNU + Linux to be fair). The level of control you get on a distro like Arch (no, it's not difficult) makes many other systems look like something you find in a toy store.
