Modelbau – Blackout
Modelbau = Frans de Waard, and this LP was inspired by images taken in Kyiv during the Russian attacks in 2022. Two of those images are featured on the cover.
Very slow moving and calming, with a melancholic atmosphere, using short wave radio, decaying tapes etc. Really, really nice.
Ob sich Menschen heutzutage noch über eine 14 kmh schnelle Fahrt nach Cuxhaven freuen würden, ist fragwürdig. Zu Zeiten der „Jan Molsen" waren solche Vergnügungsfahrten am Wochenende jedoch äußerst populär.
