The backs of the postcards arranged in such a way as to maximize the stamp density in almost a collage. White blocks censor various bits of text. Stamps dating as far back as 1950 are used, including a 3¢ NATO stamp

Seven postcards. The first is a multi view from Springfield, Missouri. The next is a botanical illustration of common Missouri Prairie flowers. Below that we have a large postcard of a bear, wearing a jogging suit the caption reads highest of vibes to you. There’s another postcard showing a botanical illustration of common Midwest leaves.I’m far right there are three postcards from Springfield Missouri one is Hammond. Another is a couple in a canoe and finally my favorite a view from a cave.

The backs of all of the postcards arranged in such a way that only the stamps are shown. There are patches where I had to blur or obscure text, or addresses.

A wide assortment of modern vintage stamps. Some date back to the 1950s. One of my favorites is a purple NATO step showing multiple hands holding up a torch. It is three cents, and from 1952.

Some things I’ve learned recently via our obsession with #postcards #stamps and #postcrossing.

1. US postage does not expire. We routinely use vintage stamps. Some from the 1940s.

2. Most vintage stamps hold no value beyond their face: 2¢, 15¢ etc. I get most of ours no more than 20% “above face.” Many I can get at OR BELOW face. 🤯

3. Folks abroad are fascinated that we “get away” with using old stamps. Seems postage does expire elsewhere

Some of them include a two cent Navajo jewelry stamp a school bus additional ounce stamp a Harry Potter stamp one cent Tiffany lamp stamps NATO three cent stamps, dating back to 1952 US a United States air mail $.21 stamp from the 70s organized labor, proud and free bald eagle $.15 stamp, another stamp is a recent issue a forever stamp depicting a black and Native American biracial sculptor who made significant contributions to art also pictured as a $.37 cat stamp, a bunny, additional ounce stamp and commercial aviation stamp from 1976

Three postcards: the top postcard is five different multi views of Chicago skyline Towers, including John Hancock and the tower formerly known as the seers tower and pretty colors at the bottom of the postcard. It reads Chicago. The bottom left postcard is a gay pride flag with the words Eureka Springs on it, the bottom right postcard is a multi view of a bookstore from Columbia Missouri books line the shelves and the floor is a black and white checkered pattern

A snoopy stamp $.13 energy conservation stamp six 50th anniversary of powered flight stamp another snoopy stamp. It’s the blonde who has a pink dress. Also a forever stamp Shel Silverstein the giving tree.
