I took this at Swayambhu Mahachaitya (also called the "Monkey Temple") in Kathmandu. Believed to date back to 460 A.D., it was built by King Manadeva, and by the 13th century, it had become an important center of Buddhism.

I took this in 2022 when I visited Swayambhu Mahachaitya and the Monkey Temple. I remember climbing a lot of stairs and there being a lot of monkeys. The guide insisted on carrying my backpack because of the monkeys.
