It's #montereycarweek and here in Carmel we have two great events today: Prancing Ponies & the Ferrari Owners Club Concours. All cars at Prancing Ponies are women owned and shown. The FOC event used to be just one block, but this year it is much bigger. In both cases there are lots of beautiful cars, and owners who are happy to talk about them, their restorations, etc.

A piece of automotive history, the 1964 Shelby Cobra “Snake Charmer,” is heading to auction at RM Sotheby’s Monterey Car Week. This single-owner classic, purchased by Henry “Hank” Williams in 1965, has been meticulously maintained and raced nearly 400 times. With its original 289 cu-in V-8 engine and unique modifications, the Cobra is expected to attract significant attention and potentially sell for an impressive price.
