Via Estonia and Ukraine there’s some new info on the raids and…
I might have jumped the gun in the previous ‘toot’ about it being a violation of the [non existing] LGBTQ+ rights in Russia. In this [more plausible] account by Artur Rehi the anti LGBTQ thing was just a pretext for raiding multiple nightclubs. Which in itself is a obvious crime against humanity.
But #Putin needed some meat for the grinder he has set up on Ukrain soil. Putin is desperate because nobody wants to join his army anymore. While he can ship convicts to the front he doesn’t have to use conscription and so avoid a massive uprising of the Russian people.
I’m glad I don’t have to chose which one is worst.
