So that’s what you’re seeing around the country right now. You’re seeing the rumble starting to increase, and you’re seeing young challengers of democratic, corporate incumbents in primaries. You’re seeing that."

Prompted by a couple of things I’ve seen today:
There are a number of #leftists (no idea how many) who AFAICT are uninterested in electing people who are not *their kind* of leftist. I think of them as “Nader in 2000” leftists.*
Leftists & #liberals interested in winning elections and in governance should ignore those ones, I think. They’re hurting more than they’re helping.
I’ve noticed that one “tell” for such leftists is that they use the term “liberal” and “lib” for other lefties derisively.
* There’s some overlap between #Nader voters and #BernieSanders voters, but I think #Bernie had broader appeal, actual political acumen, and used his position to try to strengthen the left.

Jill Stein voters need a lesson in history and how good intentions can have negative consequences.
"In Florida, Bush received 2,912,790 votes compared to Gore’s 2,912,253 votes, a margin of 537 votes. Nader received 97,488 votes in Florida.

Regardless of the idealogical reasons influencing a decision to vote 3rd party, it is not practical to do so in Presidential elections. Third parties need to grow from the local and state level first to become large enough in order to displace Dems or Republicans. This may not be a fair system, but for now, it is the reality in which we live.
A Green vote could act as a spoiler to Dems and lead to Trump giving Israel carte blanche in Gaza and the West Bank. This will be in addition to him eroding civil liberties at home.
Be honest about the consequences of your vote.
