Bids for ALAN2029

We are looking for a host for ALAN2029. Traditionally we have switched between Europe and North America, and ALAN2027 will take place in Chile, South America. For this reason, we would prefer bids from Europe over bid from the Americas. However, we would be even more excited to get bids from continents that haven't hosted an ALAN conference before.

Criteria for a successful bid are (not exclusively) the location, a reliable financial calculation, and a dedicated local team. If you are interested in hosting ALAN2029, we suggest to contact the steering commitee at an early stage of your application.

Deadline for bids: August 14, 2026
