Tout en m'attachant à démonter aux « techno-baba » qui sont partout à gauche, que cette stratégie du point 6 de la charte est totalement infondée.
En disant cela, je ne dis pas que je combats ONED, au contraire. J'affirme un soutien éclairé et critique, ce que tout•e militant•e émancipé•e et pour l'émancipation collective devrait faire !
ℹ️ Je serai un soutien en Sarthe (avec beaucoup d'autres… collectivement) tout en m'attachant à démontrer que le point 6 de la charte doit être modifié. 😉
Pas de panique : c'est le même problème dans la majorité des assos, des collectifs, des syndicats et dans tous les partis politiques… Mais faire comme tout le monde parce que tout le monde fait comme ça n'est pas vraiment une attitude militante. Et c'est tout le problème avec ce postulat. 😋
Bref, nous avons du travail en commun contre l'ED et ses idées et ce faisant, contre le recours aux régies publicitaires. ✊ #nopasaran

The latest AI teaching tool essentially takes the teacher out of the lesson. Upload PDFs and articles, it creates a podcast. Kids listen to the podcast. Questions? Kid raises their hand, podcast stops and waits for the question then answers them. Podcast does not sound like a machine either. It’s very lifelike and sounds very natural.
Why are teachers embracing tools that can be used to make them obsolete? Because there are a heck of a lot of teachers drinking the cool aid.

2 years ago today I was walking the line with other CUPE OSBCU school support workers. We were walking because Doug Ford had decided that he wanted to use the not withstanding clause to force a contract on us. We are the lowest paid education workers. If we’d let him do it, he’d have done it to the teachers too. But we walked anyway. And rallied the rest of the unions and fought back and won. Power is in solidarity. #OnPoli #OnEd

What is the lesson that teaches? Ethically, it is appalling that we do this to our kids. Economically, multiple school systems is complete nonsense and waste. #ONed #schools #education #Ontario
@prachisrivas I recall a number of years back that an Ontario Cons leader proposed the idea of expanding funding to private religious schools which of course really meant slashing funding to the universal public system. The idea, fortunately, was rejected. Four separate school systems makes no sense from an educational or financial perspective, and is bad enough, but can you imagine if that had been expanded to six, eight, ten? #ONed #schools #Ontario

Jury is still out on what they will publish #OneD&D 's SRD under because they didn't promise to do the same with that, but for #5e we are good.

Having been through the D&DNext era for 5e development as an interested gamer, I suggest everyone just relax with respect to OGL. WotC historically deals with OGL and other licensing later on the process. We had the same scare during D&DNext. It all worked out just fine. The sky is not falling just yet. #D&D #OneD&D #OGL
