Something I didn't mention when the #P1e #Ustalav party dealt with demons last year is that the #tiefling bloodrager was #possessed by a #dretch #demon. (They can't normally possess, but all #demons have some form of #possession in my campaign.)
It can't control the bloodrager's actions, but can manifest from her and retreat back into her at-will, until it leaves voluntarily or is expelled. It's been a minor nuisance so far but is escalating.
In #P1e #Ustalav last night (06 Sept), we mostly completed leveling to 4.
Then they took 6 days downtime. The unchained rogue wanted to retrain finesse training for weapon selection, which took five days (+200 gp). The bloodrager retrained hp twice (3 days & 120 gp each) to gain +2 hp--her hit point roll for level 4 had been 3. The cleric retrained hp once (3 days, 120 gp, +1 hp), then spent the remaining three days scribing scrolls.
In the #P1e Ustalav game Saturday (16 August), the party had rescued 16 people from fire #skeletons the previous session (19 July). They considered leaving the rescuees but decided to see them safely to civilization.
They avoided two fights:
1.) #skeletons: one mythic fire skelly giant, one fire skelly champion, two mythic fire skellies and two fire skulls.
2.) #vampire faction: two #dhampirs, two humans, two #festrogs
In #P1e #Ustalav game tonight (19 July), the party entered a long waddle-and-daub hut in the snowy mountains where fire #skeletons imprisoned humanoids assigned to be turned into undead.
The party fought a fire skull (in one hit), a CR 1 mythic fire #skeleton, and a CR 3 fire skeleton champion. They ended the fire skeletons far too easily.
They saved 16 NPCs but the prisoners had been drained by a #wight (foreshadowing).
In #P1e #Ustalav game tonight (12 July), the party saved their boss... They found him unconscious on the road, pitched over in some snow.
They met a ghoulish unkindness (CR 2 #ghoul raven swarm) picking the bones of a dead mobat (former #skaveling). The cleric was temporarily blinded in combat.
They saw partially #dragon-eaten ash #wight remains.
They pursue the fire #skeletons west.

In #P1e #Ustalav game on Tuesday (08 July), PCs saw aftermath of a combat. Fire #skeletons had exploded and one #wight had been ripped in half.
Party reached Sen's Pass village and the oread departed hastily after receiving a letter, taking an artifact with him. (Player left campaign in May.)
They asked about local events.
One player switched to a new character at end of session.
The party is being watched.

In my #P1e #Ustalav game on Saturday (21 June), PCs fought the second #werewolf #ghoul in the encounter they started on 24 May.
The cleric was disabled (0 hp), but healed. A few rounds in, I noticed the bloodrager hadn't accounted for DR from a template (variant demon-possessed creature). She was happy to recalculate her hp.
Cleric and bloodrager contracted ghoul fever.
Players want more scheduled sessions. We'll try.

I was going to run a side-scene for two players of my #P1e #Ustalav game tonight--I decided on a cut-away to a pair of level 6 characters addressing a situation 10-20 miles ahead of the party on the same road. One of those players canceled.
I spent hours last night on this scenario, so I want to run it. I offered to run for the solo player, but he suggested we schedule outside of normal play time to loop the other guy back in.
The recent session of my #P1e #Ustalav game on 24 May ended mid-combat. The party defeated one #werewolf #ghoul (thanks to a very effective sneak attack from the rogue) and still had one werewolf ghoul remaining.
The player of the bloodrager has called out for the upcoming 07 June game. Rather than resume combat without her, I've proposed a side-scene for this upcoming session.
So I have a day to put something together.

My current #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav campaign started in March 2024.
The campaign has ran for over a year, and has had 22 game sessions. The characters are level 3.
A player dropped out recently. I'm left with three regular players and one intermittent player (and myself, the GM). Looking to fill the open seat with another regular player.

I had a player drop from my #P1e #Ustalav game on the 14th. I guess I should start looking for a new player, but I've been pretty busy recently so I haven't really started looking.
It's going to be harder not to TPK the level three party again now that we're back down to three regular players (and a fourth that is there occasionally); I need to fill that seat pretty soon.
Just received notice that the player of the medium 2/inquisitor 1 oread is bowing out of my #P1e #Ustalav game. I hate to see him go; I had upcoming character hooks that I thought he'd enjoy, and he always seemed to get really in-character.
He brought in two of the other players to the group, and I met them through him, so I hope his departure doesn't impact their desire to play.
Now I have to think about how to write him out of the campaign.

It was the full moon. One character was doing a planned 8-hour ritual (player absent).
The level 3 cleric, bloodrager, and rogue encountered a trio of indomitable #werewolf #ghouls. The werewolf ghouls sought #werewolves to add to their pack, so two of them departed the combat early, but the party brought down the third one.
They could have brought them all down but their rolls were hot garbage.
I'm on track for #P1e #Ustalav this Saturday (10 May).
The party's medium 2/inquisitor 1 oread will be busy with an 8 hour ritual during the full moon. (Player is unavailable but planned to do the ritual already.)
My plan is to have other party members encounter something #werewolf themed during the full moon. The rogue 3 halfling has the werewolf hunter background and a bunch of silver, so it's about time they met #werewolves in combat.
My #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav sessions for this Saturday (03 May) and for Saturday 17 May have been canceled--our host is unavailable those weekends, and another player also can't make it on the 3rd.
Right now it looks like we're off-setting our 03 May game to 10 May, then possibly resuming regular schedule on 31 May. (I'm unavailable Saturday 24 May so can't off-set to that day.)
In my #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav game, the party has an artifact that can cast True Prognostication as a ritual on the night of the full moon. It's currently the day of the full moon in the game, and the party's medium has suggested a question they might ask it in the ritual. True Prognostication has very cryptic answers. I want to have something in my back pocket if they ask that question next session. I think it will be in the form of a poem.
In #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav tonight the party is on their way back to Sen's Pass. They encountered a #redcap #fey on the border of #Versex and #Amaans. The halfling rogue shot the redcap's cap with a called shot, and when it went to retrieve the cap (that had been carried 40 feet on the arrow), the party cleric channeled positive energy to heal the party while the redcap was out of range. The redcap, at under half its health, decided to hunt easier prey.
I'm developing plot hooks for upcoming #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav sessions. The party is level 3, but over-equipped, so I'm trying to work out how much danger I think they can handle.
They're on the road after shopping in #Caliphas. Last session ended as they arrived at #Hyannis in #Versex. I don't expect them there long; the main adventure site of the campaign is Sen's Pass in #Amaans. I estimate ~30 hours of uphill overland travel to their destination.
I'm not done with my #P1e dread #vukodlak yet. Its CR was too low for its statistics, so I bumped CR another +1 to CR 6 and gave it a swallow whole ability that does 1d2 Con damage. Since its CR bumped, I also bumped CR and MR of the mythic version (yes, I made a #mythic version) from MR 2 to MR 3, which granted it another mythic feat (extra mythic power) and another mythic ability (darkness aura as mythic #worg).
