#PathSky. More difficult to interpret were the P. aeruginosa rRNA FISH (red). Neutrophilic granulocytes apparently take up loads of P.aeruginosa rRNA (granular red). Some biofilms show green flourescence (1 st pic pyocyanine?) some don't (2nd picture).

Flourescence microscopy with green blobs (I suppose P. aeruginosa biofilm) with small red rods (P. aeruginos) in a sea of granular red (I have reasons to believe that these are neutrophilic granulocytes with phagocytosed P.a.?)

Organisms in the biofilm are hard to reach, even for the rRNA fish probe...
