In other @rpimag news I'm super pleased to see that my article is in the latest print issue. Picomite is so cool. Full boot to basic, but modern basic, nice documentation and really usable! I loved exploring it.

In a spare moment ported Duke of Dragonfear from The Giant Book of Computer Games to Picomite BASIC/ MMBasic. Similar to a Wumpus game but with Dragons. github.com/AntoniaLivia79/Pico. May need tweaks to work on PicoCalc #picomite #mmbasic

Got a new working screen today, between other stuff I've cobbled together this working handheld!

A tiny keyboard with handwritten legend on 3D printed keycaps is connected to a breadboard held Pico which has a small ILI9341 screen attached.

Unfortunately the ILI9341 screen that arrived today is a little borked, but, apart from that, I have got a with a little display up and running!

What do you do before bed? Me, ah well I make a weird computer from a running and an running a Microcom serial monitor firmware... totally useless but a fun distraction! Could be the most ridiculous

My hand holding a Pico wired up to an M5cardputer. The tiny screen is not very legible but has the start text of the Picomite system.

My VGA is working now. It boots directly to , has access to the SD card and can draw to the screen.

The new issue of @rpimag has just landed on my doormat.. there's a heap of excellence (Rob Miles stuff is ace!) and my contributions are part 2 of the series looking at building a solar node and using things like ATAK. I've also written a review of the fab from Clockworkpi. Hoping to write more about and PicoCalc in the coming!
