Tasted a couple of new #Põhjala #beer flavors today, and I think Surf City is the clear winner. Tropical #sour #ale with guava, orange & passionfruit.
Jesus, gulped the damn pint down like I was on the verge of dying of thirst. It was soooo good.
Of other new ones, Taevas & Kirsiraks were very tasty too. Just not mindblowingly good.
Headed to #Põhjala Tap Room, tho I had no idea if it was open today, being #MayDay, pühapäev.
Asked #Bolt driver but she spoke only #Russian. She didn’t reply anything.
Pondered the whole trip what the hell ”open” was again in Russian. Just when we stopped by Põhjala downstairs door, I remembered: ”Oткрыт!”
Some guy just walked in to Põhjala when I ecstatically yelled the word while getting out of the car. Both he & the taxi lady gave me a weird look.
Waaat… #Beer gets me easily excited.
Behind Door Number 24: #Pohjala Must Kuld Porter. On balance, it's been a nice advent calendar although if I could have made a wish, I would have wished for a couple more stouts or porters.
