I'm watching In The Heat Of The Night. I must have seen it before but I have no recollection of it, although clearly much of it is familiar from other sources.

It's an excellent movie. Sidney Poitiers is superb. So cool. Rod Steiger is also superb. And as cool as racist rednecks can be.

And the soundtrack is also excellent. By Quincy Jones, no less. Lots of jazz and blues.
