Although I haven't finished Pokémon Emerald Seaglass yet, I got the itch to start a fresh save on Pokémon Shield. I've not played it again since launch and never got around to completing the DLC either. Aside from the... not so great story, I also think it got an unfair hating on because of the Pokédex thing too.

Playing again now and it's still a lot of fun, and honestly the graphics hold up very well. I'm a few hours in and just got to Turrfield where the first gym of the game is. I decided to do some hunting on the outskirts before getting to the town and look what came to attack me. A full odds shiny Elecktrike. It's name is Sparky 😅

As a collector of video game soundtracks, which include Pokémon, I am overjoyed to finally own the Pokémon Sword & Shield, Legends Arceus, and Scarlet & Violet soundtracks! My friend from Japan who visited recently, obtained them for me earlier in the year, along with a nice box that was only available from the Pokémon Center store when all three were purchased.
