#Queenmaker: #MakingOfAModernItGirl, #Hulu, is uneven and unfocused but offers a good review of the too often toxic nature of the #blogosphere of the 2000's many on #Mastodon tout uncritically, which seeded the toxicity of #Twitter, et. al in the 10's and 20's.

The myth of #whiteInnocence (especially #women) is also (unintentionally) highlighted with the inclusion of a once key writer for #Gawker who, in an ironic, fair, and just way, became subject to the harms she helped make "acceptable".

Started watching a #KDrama on #netflix called #Queenmaker and it is soooo good. Very emotional and probably not for the faint of heart but it is such a good watch so far. It's a political drama about this big unethical corporation taking over Seoul. Got some pro-union stuff going on there too (idk I'm not good at describing a show without spoiling ig)

#QueenMaker sur #Netflix fini et autant j'ai commencé la série dans l'espoir d'avoir une autre série dans la veine de #Vincenzo (best kdrama ever je veux rien savoir :P), autant c'est finalement pas le cas mais c'était très bien ^^.

Par contre franchement il me faut un autre kdrama dans la veine de Vincenzo. Ce genre de perso principal me manque 😭 .

Maes, ¡qué buena está esta serie! De verdad la recomiendo.

Las actrices son muy muy buenas. Hasta las de los papeles secundarios. Aunque bueno, todavía no he logrado ver una serie coreana donde los actores apesten como en las series gringas.

Si tienen chance de verla, háganlo. Son nada más 11 episodios.

Todes ahí en la obsesión con Succession cuando #Queenmaker está ahí y es mucho mejor, la verdad.

Yo les juro que lo intenté, pero no logré que me gustara y estoy casi segura que es que hay algo en la manera en la que grabaron la serie que no me gusta. No sé si cheap sea la palabra que busco, pero siento que por ahí va la cosa.

Me levanté para ir al baño y decidí terminar de ver el primer episodio de #Queenmaker y pues por supuesto que el mae es un asqueroso. Era obvio. 😑

Volveré a dormir y soñar con que los tipos como él reciben su castigo y digo soñar porque ya sabemos que el patriarcado más bien logra que se conviertan en presidentes de algún país o alcaldes de algún condado/distrito/cantón o directores de empresas, etc.
