The price of RAM has begun mapping quite closely to the price of silver. Historically, this has always been the case regarding necessity: food, housing, gas, etc.; these things' prices have historically, reliably mapped to the prices of precious metals going all the way back. I bought a set of Crucial 32GB (2x16GB) 5600 CL46 (CT2K16G56C46S5) on October 13th for 5013 UAH (118 USD).

Today the same set costs 18850 UAH (445 USD).

Bloody hell. I wish I bought 64GB.
