@newmexiconomad My #BetterHalf and I snagged seats on the Cumbers & Toltec's day-long #Geology train ride. 10/10. A very long day but just a fantastic experience. Wonderful scenery combined with professional (but not over your head) descriptions of the earth processes that shaped what we were seeing at various stops.

Before I started dating my eventual #BetterHalf, I was more than fine dining alone, etc. Still can do it, and if I am single again, the #HermitLife will be fine. Even in a relationship you need the space for your small rituals, quiet time, etc.

Ive shopped at my local one for over 8y and while pleased with the coffee selections Ive been disappointed with their caffeinated tea choices until I discovered boxed
Organic #Assam Black Tea
Its the best black tea that Ive savored w/o a #Liptonlabel attached to a bag and they're big enough to make a big/tall cup, unlike tiny bags

#CookingInProgress I stopped buying #SoySauceChicken #豉油雞 from stores some years ago because I started making it #Better(*) than store.
Note: "#Better" mostly in the sense that I know exactly I put (or have not added, eg MSG) on the chicken. Also #BetterHalf loves💞my #豉油雞.
@geordie The _plan_ is to ride 130km (60, then 70km) and get to within 150km of my yearly target. Also, #BetterHalf has her annual dance concert which I'm really looking forward to.
Then NAPPING. A LOT.
Fortunately for my peace of mind, #BetterHalf remembered that the lights died last year in the lightning strike - *before* she decided that I had "clearly forgotten" some other box of decorations.
We have 3 boxes of decorations, collected over 25 years. They are labelled.

So we have Boooooblay cranked (#Child1 has recently discovered his Christmas ouvre) and are putting on *all 24* of the Christmas-style #Squishmallows I got from Costco back in September
