This is really sad. Robin is just as much of a national treasure as Brian Cox. He's got his head screwed on properly. The BBC hasn't got a head.

Robin Ince was right in his statement about his reasons for leaving the popular Infinite Monkey Cage.

The BBC is giving too much voice to people who's only 'gift' to our community is hate and division and insufficient to those who have a vision for a fairer and more inclusive world.

Social media is polarising our society (probably most societies) and I would expect the BBC to stand as a beacon of hope, truth against a world of lies and half truths.

It's a tough job that demands courage, something Robin Ince seems to have - telling the wealthy and powerful that they're wrong. British values are being undermined and the BBC seem to be watching from the sidelines.
