Workers plan to protest outside of #FederalBuildings and #TeslaDealerships to show support for the work of federal agencies. 'It’s not just about federal workers,' says Eric Blanc, author and assistant professor of labor studies at Rutgers University. 'If they take out the federal #unions, that’s our best block right now against Trump’s authoritarian power grab.' This comes as Musk has gained access to the sensitive information of millions of Americans, all the while laying off government workers en masse. The layoffs have affected the #FAA, #NIH, #IRS and more."

Today is a #SaveOurServices day of action. They're asking federal workers to post pictures of themselves and their colleagues and share their stories. Community supporters can share our alarm too. Personally, I am not nostalgic for the days of Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle," either from a food or labor standpoint!

#Chicago folks, there will be a rally on Tuesday at Federal Plaza at noon to support federal workers who have been placed on Administrative Leave and probationary workers who were illegally fired last week. We're hoping to get a big turnout and are trying to have as many congressional representatives as we can attend.
We lost a lot of great, talented people over the last two weeks. People dedicated to keeping you and your loved ones safe. Would love to see people turn out.
