Dear Fediverse,,
A friend of mine wants to get into scientific #Python (specifically for chemical engineering needs). He works in a corporation that doesn't allow Anaconda to be installed in their corporate environment (probably due to licence fees). As he's not an experienced user, a no-frills Python distribution would be good to allow for painfree NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter, Spyder, etc. ... so not vanilla core Python.
Any suggestions? #WinPython maybe?
