Self portrait I drew of me in pen, wearing a long sleeve shirt and showing my Medusa tattoo peaking out on one side of my chest. Thoughts are heavy, several boxes being weighed down by an anvil that says trauma. Boxes from top to bottom: family drama, (multiple) insecurity of self, self worth, & self love. There is a ladder w/ supports on one side of the stack of boxes, says the words therapy & support group on opposite sides of the ladder

New toy day 😁

I am very excited about taking a digital camera in the water with me. And the good news is, it works. I did not get electrocuted in the shower nor did the camera die after being drenched in water.

Expect (slowly please) watery self-portraits and other exploration of water in the coming weeks and months.

#Shadow #silhouette of me in front of our #ancient wood #stable door from my grandfather's former farm. The #rustic, solid arolla pine boards of the #door tell a long history, showing numerous signs of aging. The door tells history over several hundred years. The new door frame is made of larch wood. The partially visible round handmade indentation on the stone in front of the door has a long and interesting history as well.

This image shows the shadow of a person cast onto an old wooden door made of arolla pine boards, which were originally part of a stable. The door has a weathered and rustic appearance, with visible cracks, knots, nail holes, and signs of aging. There is an old metal keyhole on the right side, adding to its antique charm. Another self-portrait drawn from a recent photo of myself by an #aifilter from canva. Impressed how good the filters are interpreting and manipulating. However, the wrinkle shape on the forehead and the tightened corners of the mouth with indentation under the cheekbone have been reinterpreted by the filter, exaggerated, and not drawn realistically. Made the face look older in general and more shaped by the time.
