A look back at day 3 of Woodstock, 55 years ago today.
โPurple haze all in my eyes
Don't know if it's day or night
You got me blowing, blowing my mind
Is it tomorrow, or just the end of time?โ

One of my favorite '50s tunes! I love Sha Na Na, too. They're so fun! #1970s #rocknroll #ShaNaNa #RockAroundTheClock #classicTV

When #ShaNaNa played #Woodstock in 1969, the oldest song in their set list was 12 years old. And the newest one ("Wipe-Out") was only SIX years old!
1. Get a Job (1958)
2. Come Go with Me (1957)
3. Sihouettes (1957)
4. Teen Angel (1960)
5. His Latest Flame (1961)
6. Wipe Out (1963)
7. Book of Love (1958)
8. Teenager in Love (1959)
9. Little Darlin' (1957)
10. At the Hop (1958)
11. Duke of Earl (1962)
It never ceases to amaze me that #ShaNaNa was considered such a goofy, comical novelty act for covering songs that were 15 years old. "Get a Job" by the #Silhouettes was a #1 record in 1958.
This would be the equivalent of somebody today covering Lady Gaga's "Poker Face."

Every once in a while I like to watch Sha Na Na at Woodstock. It's so great and ridiculous and silly and life affirming.

This week, weโre joined by artist Dave Sherrill of @DaveRuinsArt for an Ohiolicious episode where we talk about a man arrested for making love to a van, and a cursed warlockโs grave.

Something I like to watch when I need cheering up. I actually remember seeing this as a kid. I was a TOTAL Sha Na Na stan.

It always delights me to think how #light and #sound are related! In terms of #physics, they share the same #spectrum of vibration (frequency spectrum.) The only difference is that sound is at a much lower level of vibration (20 hz - 20,000 hz), while light and colour are *much* higher up the scale.
