No Evacuation for Palestinian Collaborators, Zionist Regime Betrays Turncoats
Palestinian collaborator with the Zionist regime and Wall Street Journal columnist Yasser Abu Shabab and his âPopular Forcesâ will stay in Gaza following the ceasefire between the occupation and Hamas, according to a report by Zionist press on October 9th.
The Hebrew news outlet noted that Abu Shababâs militia is deployed in areas that will not be evacuated by the occupation army in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, allowing the group to enjoy further Zionist protection, at least temporarily.
The âPopular Forcesâ established a base under Zionist guidance in the area east of the destroyed city of Rafah on the Gaza border with Egypt.
This area is far behind the âyellow line,â to which occupation troops must withdraw, according to the map detailing genocide collaborator, Donald Trumpâs, ceasefire plan.
Abu Shababâs men are also behind the âred lineâ of withdrawal, up to which an international force will allegedly be deployed. Areas occupied by the group in the destroyed cities of Beit Lahya and Beit Hanoun, and eastern Khan Yunis, are also behind the yellow line.
In early 2024, as the regime was imposing its starvation siege on Gaza, Zionist intelligence armed and funded Abu Shababâs militia, tasking them with attacking and looting convoys carrying humanitarian aid into Gaza, including from the UN.
Zionist officials then blamed the attacks and chaos on Hamas, using the excuse to seize control of aid distribution in Gaza via the deadly Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
Abu Shabab was detained by Hamas in 2015 and sentenced to 25 years in prison on charges of drug trafficking and theft.
He escaped in October 2023 after Zionist airstrikes hit the prison where he was being held. Leaders of Abu Shababâs Tarabin clan publicly disowned him and have called for his killing for collaborating with the regime.
Hossam al-Astal, the âPopular Forcesâ commander in eastern Khan Yunis, claimed the group would remain in Gaza, while Hamas would be forced to leave.
âThe Hamas dogs will not be happy, we exist and they are (the ones) leaving,â Astal claimed.
On the other hand, a security source in the Ministry of Interior in Gaza told Quds Press on Thursday that members of Abu Shababâs militia fear being prosecuted after the genocide ends.
The source said members of the group have recently begun communicating with several families and tribal leaders, in hopes of opening indirect channels with the Ministry of Interior to resolve their legal and tribal status and ensure they are not subject to prosecution.
The source explained that this communication took place in secrecy, via intermediaries from local and tribal leaders, who relayed messages between the police leadership in Gaza and the militia members who wished to settle their status.
A specific mechanism was agreed upon for them to surrender and stand trial, while ensuring the confidentiality of the proceedings, the source added.
Sources also revealed to Quds Press that Abu Shababâs group had helped Israeli forces arrest Dr. Marwan al-Hams, the director general of field hospitals, from a medical facility in Rafah about two months ago.
The sources said that additional information regarding the militiaâs crimes would be revealed âin the coming days.â

"The Arlington County Police Department is asking for the publicâs help in investigating dozens of traffic signs vandalized with anti-fascist graffiti.
The wave of vandalism incidents, many of which involve the word 'fascism' written under the word 'stop,' has been going on for months â at a significant cost to taxpayers, according to local officials.
Since Jan. 1, the Department of Environmental Service has replaced around 60 signs because of graffiti, county spokesperson Katie OâBrien told ARLnow. Each replacement costs around $250, not including labor.
'Because of the reflective coating on the signs, paint cannot be removed without likely causing damage,' OâBrien said.
In total, the county has received around 70 reports of vandalized signs this year, many concentrated in the Tara-Leeway Heights neighborhood. That number is up significantly from 15 vandalism incidents in 2024 and 10 in 2023.
ACPD has also received reports for vandalism in the Westover, Bluemont and Highland Park-Overlee Knolls neighborhoods, police spokesperson Ashley Savage told ARLnow.
One tipster told ARLnow that he has documented over 100 vandalized signs in recent months, including no parking signs, speed hump signs and speed limit signs in addition to stop signs.
In some instances, he said he has seen the county replace signs, only for the vandal to strike again."

But last year after I received this postcard I freaked out and I contacted the director of the therapeutic cannabis program. His name is Michael Holt. I asked him multiple questions about this, but the most important questions I had are what are the consequences for this privacy violation, and what legislation changed this program to allow them to market to us. (This was so I could find out what state rep introduced that bill so I could have a go at getting them or their opposition to fix it.)
I asked these questions immediately upon receiving these postcards, then I asked them a few other times throughout the past 12 months. Regarding the consequences he told me they would receive the full consequences. The dispensary I used to go to told me that those consequences are probably thousands of dollars. Thatâs actually not a consequence to a corporation enjoying record profits, but whatever.
Last week, 12 months later, this man still hasnât told me what legislation changed the law, but he finally told me that their consequences were that they were required to write a statement explaining how they will make sure this never happens again.
I fucking cried. These people violated my HIPAA rights and the only consequence to them is that they had to write an essay saying they wonât do it again? Like the Bart Simpson meme where he has to write something 100 times on a chalkboard except they only had to write it once privately?
I donât think heâll ever answer my question about what legislation changed to this because I accused him of stalling so long that I canât even file a HIPAA complaint now because the statute of limitations is 180 days.
