I have had a cleansing morning, playing some games—old and new—on my Spectrum NEXT. It's a truly wonderful piece of kit that I paid through the nose for on eBay. I regret nothing, especially since the last BIOS update finally lets me use my HDMI monitor without a clunky VGA adaptor.

Until now, the powered HDMI ports on my monitor were a problem. It seems this is no longer the case, and I have a lovely, crisp display.

Great day catching up with @tonywarriner and @StooCambridge at Crash Live 2024.

They were showing an early preview of their new game for the Spectrum Next called Urb-X Warriors, that has a Kickstarter coming soon and also then plans for it to be available on the Amiga, Dreamcast and Mega Drive!

Even at this early preview stage it's looking fantastic!
