Photos from a walk at #Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Canberra this afternoon (moody skies, a #Rakali, a #LittleGrassbird and an eclipse #SuperbFairywren).

There was also a #SpotlessCrake but it wasn't accommodating for photos.

Really nice walk around #Jerrabomberra Wetlands in #Canberra this evening. A #SpotlessCrake was showing well (just my second encounter) and there were two #Rakali (native water rats) in one of the channels. I've also included pictures of #AustralianPelicans and an #AustralasianDarter.

Its snout is elevated and the whiskers can be seen.A large black and white pelican sitting on a log preening itself, with another behind.A cream-breasted waterbird with large pink feet and a very long snake-like neck with a yellow spear-like bill, perching unsteadily on a branch with its wings spread.
