@izzaboo In defense of “Star Crash” (a phrase never before written) there was a pretty amazing John Barry soundtrack for this movie buried under … [waves hands vaguely at random starcrash of a plot and special effects] … all that. How did they manage to get John Barry and an entire symphony to do the score for this?! If ever a movie demanded a one-man score with a drum machine and a synthesizer, it was this movie!

And yet somehow “Flash Gordon” worked because it understood how to be consistent within its own universe while #Starcrash was just an amazing random amalgamation of sci-fi images and notions glued together. #Monsterdon

Was I the only viewer reminded more of Flash Gordon than of Star Wars? (I have to admit I did not read all of the thousands of toots about #StarCrash #Monsterdon .)
