Ok I think this Mattel MotU X ThunderCats Lion-O (pic 1) does this pose better than the Super7 Ultimates one (pic 3). Weird how despite lacking the ab crunch and bicep swivel the larger figure has, it's actually a bit more posable.

I'd forgotten how the face paint looked on the first Super7 Ultimates Lion-O (on the right). The face on the new pinless release (on the left) looks far sharper and tidier. The old looks like a bootleg in comparison.
Also notice how on the old sword the cat symbol doesn't have the eye or neck line? That's been fixed too.
I tried to pose Lion-O here like the classic poster the best I could. Not easy with Super7 articulation and sure could use double jointed knees but eh, it's best I can do. The vertical hinge hand doing a lot of the work too.

Super7 Ultimates LED Eyes Lion-O
Good: Yay, it didn't break (unlike the Deluxe) though I had to heat up the joints before they would move. The skin color is much better. The LED is very bright.
Bad: Articulation is dated and the joints are ugly (especially hips which don't even fit properly in his trunks), paint is sloppy in places (mainly white), some weird scratches and excess plastic on his skin, the claw shield is supposed to store

Ran out to Ross on my lunch break and didn’t find any Transformers Super7 Ultimates like I know at least one person did, but I did find a ReAction Ultra Magnus. Do I open him? 🤔 Would have loved to find the Prototype Unicron one, maybe the one near home will be better luck.
Why do I almost always have bad luck with #Super7 figures? Just got this new #ThunderCats Lion-O figure and the leg snapped off then the arm too. These are not cheap figures so why do they feel cheap?

Another three weeks later, and the next wave of #Super7 #PowerRangers #ULTIMATES! is *AGAIN* shipping a little later than previously reported (yet somehow managed to ship earlier than previously stated?).
Previously scheduled to leave the factory mid-August, they apparently left early August.
Previously expected to ship to customers mid-September and now delayed to late-September.
tl;dr - W5 is getting close to shipping, and the transparency of the actual schedule gets cloudier and cloudier.
