1) Blokees “Galaxy Version 06” is showing up at Walmart!
2) If anybody is willing to trade me a Sunstreaker (or an IDW Megatron, but I know that’s a long shot) for Wheeljack or Kickback, LMK
The first one I picked was the Chase Orion Pax and I went back for two more and the universe told me not to push my luck. 😅
Now I’m thinking about how my pagan beliefs affect my interest in the Primes as toys, and how I’m much more interested in having toys of Primes associated with domains I care about. The Goddess of Building Things? I’m in. The God of Just Being Very Good or Something? Eh. I’m *tempted* by the Gods of Mixology and Little Guys, but not enough to sacrifice money and shelf space to them. That trickster god, though, I’m committed to buying sight unseen.
Now that my Giant Son is complete, the only thing I’ve got on preorder is the Marvel Legends Rachel Summers. I’m trying to ease off buying figures that fall short of speaking directly to my soul, partly because I need to focus on home stuff and partly because said home does not have a lot of storage and I need to be more intentional about what gets to take up the space I have. I’m all in on Liege Maximo whenever they get to him because I’m big on both trickster gods and the G2 comic, but other than that, there’s not a lot of absolutely-must-haves in the pipeline.
Unless they really do start up Studio Series IDW, in which case I guess I’ll just have to buy a storage shed.
FINALLY, my last and smartest son has arrived!
Time to form Superion and then take them apart and never do that again because I quietly resent the way every canon writer after G1 has ignored them as individuals.
I really need to go through my phone and delete all the photos I’ve taken of toy displays just so I could share them with my robot nerd friends on Discord.
