Here at UChicago, we like Sweden about as much as everybody else. We played Minecraft and ate Swedish Fish (the candy, not the lutefisk). We get over to the IKEA in nearby Schaumburg every now and then.
We like ABBA, Tove Lo, and Robyn, although we never really got into that Gothenburg death metal (make us a mix-we could give it another try).
If there's one thing we love importing most from Sweden, though, it's Nobel Prizes. We've brought home 99 of them so far. We've won them in all six categories— Chemistry, Economics, Literature, Peace, Physics, and Physiology or Medicine. We even have eight Nobel laureates currently on our faculty. So scoop some cheese into your coffee, pass the gravlax, grab a couple of kaldomar, and raise a glass of blabarssoppa:
