@gulix @matthieu_be parce que pour faire de la poésie les rimes c'est surfait. On réemploi des images (#SwordsWithoutMaster) ou des symboles (#LaCléDesNuages), ou des thèmes (#Horrifique). On se contraint dans la forme plus que dans le fond (#SonjaEtConanContreLesNinjas, #LaGriveNoire), parce qu'en forme comme en fond, le #JdR est une conversation.
This creative constraint is really fruitful and brings poetic, impressionist transitions that make me think of the echoing motifs in #SwordsWithoutMaster
There is also a clever device to know who wants to speak next, who wants to interrupt shortly the current narrator, etc. The conversation is formalized (poke @lumpley)
The way the settings element share and often dispute ground makes the story dynamic, sometimes conflictual, sometimes peaceful.

I guess this is a another question of perspective. Some games that I have played might seem obscure for "classical #ttrpg" players (like, say, #SwordsWithoutMaster, #TrophyDark or maybe a #pbta) and others for the #storytelling crowd (hardcore #Pathfinder or #OSR stuff).
But I've actually had none that I'd call obscure myself.
Also, a lot of today's mentions from you nice people out there might grow my stack of unplayed games yet again, which is too big already 😵

Building a web app for #SwordsWithoutMaster has been an interesting endeavor. Especially since I've had to learn everything about building a web app beyond the very little HTML I remember from my geocities days.
The wonders and perils of coding aside, it's also been intriguing to examine my game from this new perspective.
Swords was built around quite a bit of physical interaction. There are important portents and rituals around the picking up and passing of the dice that online play lacks.
@hellcowkeith Being a puppet and roleplaying with you onstage at PaxU was last-last year, so it doesn't quite make the cut.
So I'd say playing #SwordsWithoutMaster with @epidiah and playing a blue asexual 7-foot three-armed alien
I also own #swordswithoutmaster (afaik it's only available with some #zine download pdf).
Liked it a lot.
