@ian @W1CDN are you saying there should be an xOTA software that could be used for activity programs such as #TOTA? If only somebody developed such a thing… 🤓

My highlight at the end of 2024 was the Chaos Communication Congress (#38C3) where we participated with the Chaoswelle, a group of ham radio operators and hackers in the Chaos Computer Club.

You might be familiar with the Toilets On The Air program (#TOTA) that was active during the congress. I only made 159 QSOs in total, but I really enjoyed getting in touch with so many OPs and people asking what I'm doing.

@dc1tc did a really good job managing the program during the Congress! Thanks!

The year 2024 was my first year as a radio amateur, time for a little review:

Since I got my license in March, I have logged 2487 QSOs. Almost all contacts have been portable, 88% SSB, 11% FM and 1% digimodes. My favorite band seems to be 20 m with 72%, followed by 40 m with 11%. Thanks to #TOTA, 70 cm is next with 9%, followed by 10 m with 3%, 2 m with 3% and 15 m with 2%.

I made 214 QSOs during the #38c3 #tota activity program. Not sure, if I got all awards, but probably most of them.
And no, even though I was really active, I do not lead any of the scoreboards by far. I am activator #4 with 161 activations and hunter #5 with 111 hunter QSOs.

Congrats to DF1ASH (#1 activator) and DL7NE (#1 hunter) and thanks to @dc1tc for building and hosting this great event in a event.
