Über 20 Master-Studierende der Hochschule Kehl haben im Public Management zusammen mit Prof. Dr. Jürgen Fischer spannende Fallstudien für das Landratsamt Emmendingen erarbeitet – mitten aus dem echten Verwaltungsalltag! 🙌

Fünf Teams, fünf Fallstudien: Arbeitgeberattraktivität, Vorschlagswesen, Vergabestelle, Dokumentenmanagement und Schülerbeförderung standen im Fokus. Die Studierenden haben Prozesse analysiert, innovative Lösungen gefunden und bei den Abschlusspräsentationen im großen Sitzungssaal sogar eine Kreistagssitzung simuliert – inklusive kritischer Nachfragen zu Finanzen und Zuständigkeiten. 👏📝

This article critiquing Bazball in cricket is worth reading even if you are not interested in cricket. The critique of the team culture is applicable to work team settings. Elements of it resonate with engineering team culture in some places I have worked. In those places a negative culture has been recognised and methods similar to Bazball have been implemented to rectify it. Things have improved significantly, but still the culture misses the mark needed to achieve reasonable performance goals.

I like the fact that the writer acknowledges the positives for the English team that have come from Bazball. The team also has some talented players who I really thought were likely to help England win against Australia this summer.

PS - This is another Guardian cricket article that could do with some editorial work, but it is still worth readingnfornits content.
